1. Agreement
These terms are an agreement between you and Haycion Inc. ("Haycion", "we", "us") and apply whenever you use Haycion's website, app, AI agents, Advisor Network, profile API and MCP server (the "Service"). If you use the Service for a firm or a company, you accept these terms for it and confirm you're authorised to do so; "you" then means both you and that firm. If you don't agree, don't use the Service. Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal data.
2. The Service
Haycion is a competitive intelligence workspace for consultants and advisors. It gives you one isolated workspace per client, built from public sources and from what you add, with company analysis, competitor benchmarking, market sizing, positioning recommendations and reports. It sets up an AI agent for each client: a public, structured profile that AI assistants read, with visibility checks you run whenever you want. It also runs the Haycion Advisor Network at /advisors, and offers a read-only profile API and an MCP server so AI assistants you connect can work with your workspaces.
What the Service does at any time is described on this website and in the app. We may change, add or remove features; where a change materially reduces what you've paid for, we'll tell you in advance. Features marked "early access" are provided as they are and may change or end.
3. Accounts and workspaces
- You must be at least 18 and use the Service for business or professional purposes.
- Give accurate account details and keep them up to date. You're responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in secure.
- Workspace administrators decide who has access to a workspace, with which role (Administrator, User or Client), and what Client View shows.
- When you build a workspace for a client, you're responsible for having your client's agreement for that work, for whom you invite into it, and for what you share with them.
- Claiming an advisor listing or verifying a client's domain means you control that domain or act for whoever does. We may ask for proof and may reassign a claim when someone else proves control.
4. Your content
You keep ownership of what you put into the Service: briefs, uploaded documents, notes, guardrails, edits, reports and other material ("Your Content"). The analysis and reports the Service produces for you are yours to use, including in deliverables under your own name, subject to these terms and to other people's rights in the public material they draw on.
You give us a licence to host, process and transmit Your Content only to run, secure and improve the Service for you, including sending it to the AI model providers that power the Service and publishing what you choose to publish. You confirm you have the rights to provide Your Content, including any confidential client material you upload, and that it doesn't break the law or anyone else's rights.
5. AI output
Company analysis, scores, competitor findings, visibility results and agent answers are generated with AI from public sources and from Your Content. They can be wrong, incomplete or out of date. Every score shows its reasoning and can be overridden: check anything important before relying on it or passing it to a client. You're responsible for the deliverables you send and for what you publish. Visibility checks report what AI assistants and search engines returned at the time of the check; we don't control those services, and their answers change.
6. Publishing and AI agents
Nothing about a client is published until you publish it, and publishing requires the client's domain to be verified. Once published, a client's profile and AI agent are public: anyone, including AI assistants and search engines, can read, copy and cache them. You can unpublish at any time, but we can't recall copies others have already made. You're responsible for making sure what you publish is accurate and that you're authorised to publish it. The agent works within the guardrails you and the client set.
7. The Advisor Network
Consultancies, agencies and independent advisors are listed in the Haycion Advisor Network. A listing that hasn't been claimed uses only information from public web sources, mainly the firm's own website, and says so on the page. A firm can claim its listing to edit any field or switch the listing off, or ask for it to be removed at any time using the "Request removal" link on the listing. Removal is confirmed through an email address at the listing's domain, takes effect straight away and is permanent: the domain goes on a removal list and no listing will be created for it again. Removal applies to the whole domain, so it also removes any other public company profile built for that domain on the same platform.
When you use "Contact" on a listing, your request comes to Haycion, not to the firm. We review requests and may pass them on to the firm, with the contact details you gave, so it can reply; you agree to this when you send a request. We don't guarantee that we'll pass on any request, that a firm will reply, or that it will take on the work. Haycion isn't a party to any engagement between you and a firm and isn't responsible for its services. Being listed doesn't entitle a firm to receive requests.
8. Acceptable use
Don't use the Service to:
- break the law or anyone's rights, including privacy, confidentiality, intellectual property and anti-spam laws;
- publish a profile, verify a domain or claim a listing you aren't authorised to act for;
- upload material you don't have the right to share;
- send false, abusive or promotional advisor requests;
- impersonate a person or company, or misrepresent your affiliation;
- upload malware, probe or disrupt the Service, or get around its limits, credits or security;
- copy the Advisor Network in bulk, scrape the app, or use the Service to build a competing product;
- make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on individuals based solely on AI output.
9. Fees and credits
Plans and credits are priced on the pricing page or in your order. Each plan includes a monthly pool of credits that heavier jobs draw from; credits have no cash value and can't be transferred. Fees are due in advance, exclude taxes, and are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise or we say so in writing. Payments are handled by our payment processor, and you can manage or cancel a subscription from the app's billing settings; a cancelled plan stays active until the end of the period you've paid for. We may change prices for future billing periods with at least 30 days' notice.
10. Third-party services
The Service relies on third-party providers, such as hosting, email delivery, web search and AI model providers. AI assistants you connect through the MCP server or the profile API act under their own providers' terms and receive whatever data the tools you approve return to them. The Service also links to other companies' websites. We aren't responsible for third-party sites and services, or for the answers of the AI assistants and search engines that visibility checks report on.
11. Our intellectual property
The Service, its software and its branding belong to Haycion Inc. and its licensors. These terms don't give you any rights in them beyond using the Service. If you send us feedback, we may use it without obligation to you.
12. Confidentiality
Each side will protect the other's non-public information with reasonable care and use it only for the purposes of these terms, except for information that is already public, independently developed, or required to be disclosed by law (with notice where allowed). Your workspaces are private to the people you give access to, except for what you publish.
13. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't guarantee that any AI assistant will cite or recommend you or your clients, that any firm or buyer will respond to you, or that information drawn from public sources is complete or current.
14. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, neither side is liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Each side's total liability under these terms is limited to the fees you paid Haycion in the 12 months before the claim. These limits don't apply to your payment obligations, your indemnity below, or liability that can't be limited by law.
15. Indemnity
You'll defend and indemnify Haycion against third-party claims arising from Your Content, what you publish, your work for your clients, or your breach of these terms.
16. Suspension and termination
You can stop using the Service and delete your workspaces at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms, if we must by law, or to protect the Service or others. On termination, sections 4 (the licence for content already published), 7, 11 to 15 and 18 continue to apply.
17. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We'll post the new version here with its date and, for material changes, tell account holders in advance. Continuing to use the Service after a change takes effect means you accept it.
18. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The state and federal courts located in Delaware have exclusive jurisdiction, and both sides consent to them.
